At Arment’s we understand that the world doesn’t stand still – and neither do our loyal customers, many of whom leave their Walworth homes for pastures new. We also know that some things in life are difficult to leave behind – Arments® pies being a prime example! No-one should have to leave their favourite pie and mash behind – so we’ve been working behind the scenes to fix this!

We are excited to reveal that pie lovers everywhere can now look forward to enjoying Arments® delicious Pie, Mash & Liquor in various locations. We’re teaming up with selected businesses and granting them an exclusive licence to serve up our real London Pie, Mash & Liquor to customers yearning for the genuine flavour of London…the heritage, the nostalgia, community,  the 100 year old recipe! At the same time, we’re sure to convert many new customers to pie and mash served the only way it should be – the authentic London way – the Arments® way!

We’ve received the seal of approval!

For a year or so now we have been working on our new business model.  Part of this included the lengthy and complex process of obtaining a Licence of Approval from Southwark Council for the resale of our pies, mash and liquor, via selected independent outlets, throughout the UK.  Our food also underwent significant nutritional and shelf life testing and analysis which it passed with flying colours!

As you may remember from a previous blog the nutritional results illustrated that our pies are not only the tastiest (possibly in the world!)  but are a far healthier option than many other fast foods.  Low in saturated fat and sugars an Arments® Steak Pie, mash and liquor meal comes in at only 581 calories a portion (under half the calories in a McDonalds McTasty burger meal which contains a whopping 1187 calories!)

We’re only prepared to issue the Arments® License to businesses that meet our high expectations in terms of food preparation, cleanliness and service. Naturally, we’ll be supplying all the pies and liquor –  but we’ll also ensure that staff are trained the Arment’s way – so you’re assured of receiving the same quality as you do right here in Walworth. We’ll also be mystery shopping the new outlets regularly to ensure you’re receiving a high standard of service.
